Haotian Man is going to teach a design-built workshop in the University of Tokyo with Prof. Dr. Eike Schling and Dr. Zongshuai Wan during the CAADRIA 2025 Conference, practicing the research of the Equilateral Constant Normal Curvature Building Approach. This Approach is a branch of the Repetition Structure, which promotes the low-tech building methodology that is more accessible to all who wants to build doubly-curved gridshell structures and lowers the carbon-emission by recycling and reuse the component due to its repetitive nature. The research is an important part of the office, and we strive to research through research.

The conference is going to take place in the University of Tokyo during March 22-29, 2025, within which, the workshop will be held in the first three days.

The Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA) promotes teaching and research in CAAD in Asia, and has members on six continents. As part of the conference, CAADRIA offers a series of exciting workshops around a range of cutting-edge topics and methodologies in Architectural Informatics. Led by expert instructors from around the world, the workshops are aimed at students, researchers and young professionals interested in extending their knowledge and skills in the field of computational processes in architecture and urbanism.
